Bespoke: Insight Journalism as a catalyst for community innovation and engagement

The EPSRC-funded Bespoke Project laid many of the foundations of Interactive Newsprint, particularly around community co-design and how design teams work with community reporters and their output. At the end of the Bespoke Project, which ran between 2009 and 2011, this downloadable document was produced for an exhibition held at the V&A museum as part of London Design Week. It contains articles on the aims and experiences of both those on the project, and those who we worked with. It also includes an overview of the ‘Insight Journalism’ methodology which Bespoke pioneered.
